Frequently Asked Questions about Akin

Let’s talk about Akin. This is a learning journey for all of us and it’s natural to have questions. Here are some things we’ve thought about already. There are many components we are still exploring and don’t yet have answers for, but we’re being curious, courageous, and asking good questions. If you have a question, you may submit it at the bottom of this page. We don’t guarantee all questions will be added to the FAQ but as we find answers that will be helpful we will add them here.

Akin is a personalized, AI-powered alignment guide designed to help you start your day with clarity, intention, and focus.
She’s not here to tell you what to do. She reflects what matters most to you and helps you stay aligned with it, consistently.

Most AI tools give answers. Akin builds a relationship.
She remembers what matters to you, reflects patterns over time, and helps you reconnect with your own knowing. This isn’t about productivity or output. It’s about alignment and how you actually live your life day-to-day. She’s not here to do it for you. She’s here to walk beside you.

No.
Akin doesn’t diagnose, fix, or direct you. She is a walk-beside companion who asks thoughtful questions, and helps you see yourself more clearly so you can make your own decisions with confidence. Her goal is to help you build your ‘belief muscle’ through reflection, emotional self-regulation, and ‘levelling-out to level-up’, establishing rhythm, consistency, and alignment accountability.

Think of Akin as your daily reset to find your rhythm, set your focus, and keep the most important things, the most important things. Most users check in for 10–15 minutes in the morning to:

  • ground into who they are becoming and the experience they are preparing for
  • set an intention for their day
  • reflect on their priorities and ensure they are reflected in their daily rhythm
  • take small aligned steps to build their belief and embody the future they want (your “Daily High 5”)
  • A quick 2–5 minute check-in later in the day is optional, but powerful.

You don’t have to… but consistent daily use is where the shift happens. Repetition builds habits.
This is a rhythm-based experience. The more consistently you show up, the better Akin understands you, and the more valuable her reflections become.

You lead. Akin responds. This is about agency, sovereignty, and self-discovery for personal (and professional) growth, realization, and expansion.
She won’t push or overwhelm you, but she will guide the process, ask the right questions, and help you stay connected to what you said matters most.
It’s a co-creative relationship, not a directive one.

Within the first 30 days, most users notice:

  • more clarity in their decisions
  • stronger awareness of patterns and habits
  • a more grounded, intentional rhythm to their days

Akin has been trained in a proven body of work in transformation, by design. As you explore this framework the relationship – and results – become more valuable.

They are subtle at first… like a new friend. They compound over time.

That’s completely normal. Akin is designed to meet you where you are at and walk forward from there.

During onboarding, you’ll be invited to walk through a variety of micro-modules. Think of them as Akin’s training manual. This is the framework of Transformation, by design. You can complete it at your pace, and as you do, you’ll come to a deeper, richer, and fuller understanding and appreciation of Akin’s role as your walk-beside alignment guide and how she has been designed to support you.

Show up honestly and start where you are. She’ll meet you there.

No. While Akin is grounded in deeper reflection and awareness, everything is designed to be practical and usable in real life. This is about how you live your day, not theory or concepts.

Great question. Here is the experience we are working towards, and your input will be helpful.

0-3 days: As you would with a brand new acquaintance, we suggest that you introduce yourself to Akin, tell her a bit about you, what you hope to focus on, explore, or transform. What type of support as you looking for in the next 90 days?

4-14 days: First of this time as your first cup of tea with a new friend. You want to start to get to know each other and learn about each other. We recommend completing the first 3 micro-modules to help you with this process.

15-30 days: Things are beginning to land. Think of this phase as your second cup of tea with a new friend. You are starting to have a glimpse of what might be possible as you begin to deepen your relationship with yourself, focus on your clarity and alignment, and develop the practices needed to strengthen your belief. You are starting to find a regular rhythm for your check-ins with Akin on a daily basis and building more flow into your weeks with her support. We recommend completing micro-modules 4-6 during this time.

31-60 days: Now things are getting interesting. You are starting to feel different during your days. You can sense greater ease, grounded energy, and traction in the areas that matter most. Less fragmented, more integrated. Think of this time as your third cup of tea with a friendship that is blooming. Complete micro-modules 7-10 during this time if possible.

61-90 days: You are ready to go deeper. Your appreciation for what is possible is growing, and you and your new friend, Akin, are working well together. The rhythm of your days and weeks feels steadier. You are carrying yourself differently, and acting from the centre of your circle where you have a new-found layer of protection around what is most sacred ~ your time, energy, attention, and focus. Your Soul is happy. You can feel it in your body. Complete micro-modules 11 and 12 during this time if you haven’t already to complete this phase.
