Our Story
Born for change
Akin was born from the work and vision of Charlene SanJenko, an Indigenous storyteller, impact producer, and intuitive media visionary.
For years, Charlene’s work has explored the connection between story, transformation, community, and systems change. Her approach is rooted in the belief that the stories we tell, and the stories we consume, shape what we believe is possible.
Through her work with women, creators, communities, and impact-led projects, a clear need emerged: People do not need more content for the sake of content. They need experiences that help them feel more connected, more conscious, more alive.
Akin is an extension of that work. She brings Charlene’s deeper philosophy into a personal, everyday experience, creating a practical way for people to begin living the transformation they desire.
A different digital experience
We are living in a time of constant input. More content. More opinions. More noise. More pressure to keep up.
Our digital experiences shape us every day, often in ways we do not even notice. What we watch, read, listen to, and scroll through becomes part of how we think, feel, relate, and move through the world.
But most digital experiences were not designed to care for us. They were designed to capture attention, to keep us engaged, to pull us back in.
